Sharks

Sharks fields teams in the Toowoomba Touch Association’s Men’s and Women’s Winter competition which runs from March-September each year. Grades cater for the elite player through to social players (A, B, C and D Grade). The minimum playing age is 12 years. Sharks teams train once a week and play on Saturday afternoon at the Toowoomba Touch fields at Kearney’s Spring.

Training

Training is set by our volunteer coaches. In 2021 Sharks teams train on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

 

Playing Uniform

Our Club colours are green, red, white and black. The playing shirt is available from the Club, and Men’s and Women’s shorts and bike pants are also available. C, D and E grade players may wear any form of pants desired – the TTA requires them to be completely black (eg black shorts, black bike pants, black tights etc).

Fees

Our Club fees cover a range of things – paying for the lights we use at training, playing insurance, referees fees, QTA and TFA affiliation fees, registration fees, grounds maintenance… the list goes on! The Club pays all of this to the TTA through Team Fees – usually around week 4 of the season’s competition. Payment of your Club fees is appreciated at your earliest convenience, as late payment often puts pressure on the Club’s finances. We thank you for your consideration and early payment.

The Club offers a $10 discount to players who pay before week 4 each season. Please note that fees need to be paid in full in order to remain registered.

Adult players – $130

Students – $130

Current season All Stars players – $120 (+first complimentary playing shirt)
