TTA Junior Comp Age divisions: U8s (minimum age 6), U10s, U12s, U14s and U16s. The competition is played on Friday afternoon/evening (U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s) and Wednesday (U16 and U14 Boys) at the Toowoomba Touch fields at Kearney’s Spring.
After the success last year running Trials for our older age groups, we will be running Trials for U12, U14 and U16 this season. (If for some reason your child cannot attend, please email us to advise.)
Expectations from coaches in the Division 1 teams are that the child attends each scheduled training session and that they are 100% committed to putting 110% into training and their game. We have many children trialling for these spots and need to ensure that they understand this is a commitment not to be taken lightly. All of our coaches (in both Divisions) give up their valuable time and want to ensure the whole team gain as much knowledge and exposure to the game of touch.
If your child is not selected in a Div 1 team, they will still be placed in an All Stars Team.

Registration and Fees
You will be required to register for the Toowoomba Touch Junior Comp online as well as filling out Club information and paying fees – the Club will provide your Team Code (from the TTA) and instructions when online registrations are open. New players must present their birth certificate to the Club at the muster or at their first game for verification of age.
Our Club fees cover a range of things – playing insurance, referees fees, QTA and TFA affiliation fees, registration fees, grounds maintenance… the list goes on! The Club pays all of this to the TTA through Team Fees. Payment of your Club fees is appreciated at your earliest convenience, as late payment often puts pressure on the Club’s finances. We thank you for your consideration and early payment.
The final date for payment of fees is 16th September 2017
****To fulfill registration requirements players must be both registered online
and financial members of the Club ****
Under 8 and Under 10 player – $90

Sharks Touch Club is registered with Q Grants – please contact the Secretary to redeem you Q Grants voucher.
Trials will be held for Under 10’s through to Under 16’s for Toowoomba Twisters teams in early 2018. We encourage as many of our players to trial for these teams as the carnivals and State Cup experience is extremely worthwhile.
Thanks to Enwise Electrical and Crackerjack Chicken for your continued support – we appreciate it greatly.
Please support the businesses that support our children!
The TTA has a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behaviour from players, coaches and spectators. This policy is supported by All Stars Junior Touch. Let’s support the players and referees and ensure everyone has fun.
For Under 12-16 age groups – parents, spectators and supporters are requested to watch games from the end of the field. Please do not stand on side-lines or in-between fields. The sub-box is for players and coaches only. Please allow players and coaches space in the sub-box by watching the game from the end of the field. This is the best place to see touch played as you can see how tries are created.
Under 8-10 games are refereed by the coaches. For Under 12-16 games, the Club needs to provide referees. If you are a current referee and would like to referee please advise us by email – we need you. Referees are paid quite well and this is a good way to earn some cash and learn the rules of the game.
